Happy New Year
Well another new year has begun, time to make some changes for the better. Last year we were busy, took on a lot of work, made a lot of progress. I expect to do even more of that this year.
I have big plans for this year, I hope I can accomplish most of them. It's going to take a lot of work and determination, but as always, nothing gets done without putting extra effort into it.
It's going to take a lot of money too, so I hope this new year will bring some much needed funds. Going to gather up some friends to share ideas, write for some grants, do some fundraising.
Last year I was able to take in quite a few cats and kittens and find them homes. This year I will try to do even more. I've met some wonderful people along the way, and know the cats and kittens who've left here will live happy, safe lives. This is what it's all about.

Several people have asked when I was going to have a blog with updates of what's happening. Well I finally caved in and decided to add one. Nothing much to read yet, but I'll be adding a little bit at a time.
You'll get to see photos of the "mewbies" as they show up, as well as news of adoptions, special events, fundraisers, articles, or just whatever happens to be on my mind at the moment.
Feel free to leave comments, just please keep it clean.

Pippi needs a forever home
Oh how I wish someone would adopt Pippi. She's such a sweetheart, but not one person has asked about adopting her. Not one.
Every day I get emails from people who want kittens. They see a kitten that catches their attention and they contact me about adopting. They have all kinds of reasons for wanting a kitten. Sure, kittens are cute and funny, but they grow up so fast. So why not adopt a young cat instead?

I should write something.
I made this blog months ago and never used it. I suppose I should start keeping this updated. As if I have nothing else to do all day long.
There are cats and kittens to take care of, not enough time to play on the internet all day.
